Wedding venues in Colorado are plentiful, and each has its own personality. From bustling outdoor pavilions to secluded mountain retreats there is a Colorado destination venue with your name on it.
The perfect wedding venue can be hard to find, but I make it easy to share my top 10 favorite wedding venues in Colorado:
1. The Little Nell
You’ve finally found your Colorado mountain wedding venue location. For instance, you are looking for a mountain venue, but where will you find a place for all your guests? The Little Nell has you covered. Overlooking the fabulous pool and hot springs of the award-winning ski resort nestled at 8,200 feet in Aspen. The Little Nell has everything you need for amazing events and weddings.
2. Devil’s Thumb Ranch
The Devils Thumb Ranch is a retro-style event center located at Devils Thumb in Hotchkiss, Colorado. They have been hosting incredible weddings since 2009! The Devils Thumb Ranch offers couples a unique place to exchange vows. Built as an event center they can host your ceremony, reception, rehearsal dinner, and much more! Your wedding reception can be held indoors with seating for up to 125 people. Or choose the outdoor ceremony option and married on the front lawn under the willow tree.
3. Grant Humphries Mansion
Located in Morrison, Colorado, the grand Humphries mansion was designed for weddings and other events. Charming features include a winding staircase, beamed ceilings, and high arched windows. With enough space to seat 350 guests, this is the perfect venue for an elegant wedding ceremony, reception, or event.
A splendid backdrop for any affair, the grand Humphries mansion is an impressive four-level home located outside of Denver. Built in 1918 by a prominent philanthropist, it has hosted many parties and guests.
4. Camp Hale Weddings
The perfect wedding venue for couples who like a more chill vibe. Camp Hale is a unique venue located in the heart of Vail, Colorado with breathtaking Rocky Mountain views. Camp Hale offers two indoor/outdoor ceremony locations with stunning bridal portraits overlooking the Gore Range as a backdrop. Ceremonies are held where one of Vail’s most picturesque wedding gazebos is found.
5. Surf Hotel and Chateau
Surf Hotel & Chateau Colorado is the perfect setting for your wedding, reception, and vow renewal ceremony. Their 7-acre lawns within the towering Colorado trees, providing serenity in both summer and winter. They have breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains. Intimate weddings are my jam. I love the peaceful setting and being able to wander amongst the grounds afterward.
6. Spruce Mountain Ranch
Spruce Mountain Ranch is a mountain oasis for weddings and other events, with breathtaking views of the Rocky Mountains. The property features historic buildings, including the circa-1905 Spruce Mountain Ranch House, a Victorian cabin, bunkhouse, stagecoach house, stone barn. They have rustic carriage houses, and historic gardens filled with lavender, roses, dahlias, and more. You’ll also find one of Colorado’s largest greenhouses onsite. I’ve worked here a couple of times before. Most recently Denver Broncos own Dalton Risner and his gorgeous fiancé for their pre-wedding photoshoot. It is one of my favorite wedding venues in Colorado!

The Oxford Hotel in Boulder, Colorado is one of the best places to get married. They have a beautiful outdoor ceremony site that overlooks boulder creek and features a nearby waterfall for your wedding photos. After your ceremony, there’s plenty of space to get ready for the big party. Then enjoy their floor-to-ceiling windows, offering you gorgeous views of Downtown Boulder as you celebrate your special day.
8. Denver Botanical Gardens
Say “I do” in an oasis of lush greenery and vibrant color at the Denver Botanic Gardens. The Gardens have many options to create a wedding that will perfectly reflect your style. You can exchange your vows among the natural beauty of the Japanese Garden or beneath mature deciduous trees in the Rose Gardens in the heart of the city. It’s a dream come true to be in the center of an enchanted garden for your wedding day. At the Denver Botanic Gardens, you’ll enjoy all that nature’s splendor has to offer.
